TED and Web 2.0

The meaning of TED Technology Entertainment and Design has a direct relation to the meme Web 2.0:

T from the Technology we use from the Web 2.0 tools
E from the Entertainment and fun we get by mixing the web 2.0 tools together
D from Design which is how "creativity"* helps us "to combine"* this Technology and Entertainment "to create value"*.

How to do it?

This is the course where you will learn how to use some free Internet tools from the Web 2.0. It covers the use of 4 free tools:

A free web to mashup knowledge at the Internet:

1) Blogger is a free web repository that allows us to communicate creating a blog (from web & log) to store our thoughts, enrich and evolve the information ecology.

To enhance our communication we need some multimedia content tools:

2) Flickr is a free digital photo repository to share our images on the Internet. We can link these images to display into our blog.

3) Youtube is a free digital video repository that can add motion and sound to enhance our blog information. Now we can add digital video to our mashup communicated through our blog.

Also some kind of community free advertising:

4) Digg, is an on-line community where members share content. Links to interesting articles are posted to Digg and the more times a link is referenced (“dugg”), the more popular it becomes and migrates to the front page. It’s become a way of tracking what’s cool. So, add your blog link to Digg and see how frequently it gets dugg.
